Electronic Poker is a popular game that usually will be enjoyed in casinos across the world, or alternatively at your house on your home computer, through an Internet connection. The round is now completed, with the Video Poker machine scanning the hand to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands listed in the payment schedule.

Typically, the lowest succeeding hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money increasing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the payment schedule can change from machine to machine, so that discerning players are agile enough to select the most money-making ones each instance.

Once the first round has completed, the player can either decide to stay on and try to to increase their winnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any credits that they may have won. Further, several versions of the game allow the bettor a chance to increase their profits, in which instance a further game is played. There are also variations between individual games, with some decks of cards having wild cards and other varying characteristics to increase playability.
