Electronic Poker is a popular game that is able to be wagered on in casinos throughout the globe, or in your house on your home computer, through an Internet account. The regulations are very simple and involve the player attempting to get the highest assemblage of cards possible in order to acquire money. On this account it’s much the same as a regular game of poker, apart from the line of contact with any other players. Of course, methods used in a real-life game of poker, such as tricking, will be irrelevant here.

The game of Electronic Poker starts when the bettor puts credits (whether it’s tokens, credit slips or money) into the machine and pushes the deal button. A 5 card hand will be electronically ‘dealt’ on the screen.

The Video Poker machine also has buttons with ‘hold’ printed on them, and enthusiasts should now pick which cards to keep and which to throw away. For the cards the player would like to retain, the ‘hold’ buttons should be pressed so that they light up. The player can decide to keep any number of cards they want, whether it’s all or none.

After the bettor has chosen which cards he wishes to retain, they should press ‘deal’, at which point any new cards will be needed they will be given out. The game is now completed, with the Electronic Poker machine scanning the hand to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands listed in the pay out schedule.

Normally, the lowest succeeding hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money increasing for each better hand. A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the payout schedule can change from machine to machine, so that knowledgeable bettors are agile enough to pick the most money-making game every time.

Once the initial round has played out, the player can either choose to remain on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any cash that might have been won. Further, some versions of the game allow the gambler an opportunity to double their wins, in which case a further round is played. There are also variations between specific games, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other varying elements to increase playability.
